Children's Museum of Phoenix

May 14
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM

This program emphasizes simple but critical messages about early brain development and developmental milestones. Included are stories, songs, rhymes, and one-on-one parent/child playtime with brain-based learning toys and books. Join us this month as we play plenty of peekaboo and hide and seek games with your little one. Peekaboo games help your child develop cause and effect skills and they are able to begin making predictions of what will happen. It’s also a great way to bond with your little one! The program is designed to teach parents about the importance of a child’s early experiences to the wiring of his or her brain in a fun, informal learning setting where play is emphasized. Children ages 8 to 15 months old plus a parent/caregiver are welcome. Admission into the program is free with paid Museum admission. Space is limited. Please click here to register for the program.
