TOESIES TO NOSIES: INFANT MESSAGE

Join us as we learn the techniques of infant massage during this 4-week course designed for caregivers and infants!  Regularly providing an infant with the loving touch of massage benefits not just the infant, but the caregiver as well.  Through touch, the infant will learn the comfort of being loved and the caregiver will feel the deepening of his/her bond with the baby.  The infant experiences lower stress hormone levels, enhanced digestion, a strengthened immune system, relief from discomfort associated with gas, teething, colic & constipation, along with numerous other benefits.  Caregivers find their confidence is raised and parenting skills enhanced, as well as an increase in production of prolactin (the ‘nurturing hormone’), reduced risk of post-partum depression, advanced development of pre-verbal communication with their infant, and attachment which fosters optimal brain development.

Caregivers should feel free to bring their infant to class or use one of our lifelike dolls.  Please bring a change of clothes and diaper for the infant, as well as a comfortable blanket for the baby to lie on during the class.  Attendees will be provided with Toesies to Nosies massage oil as well as an instructional manual and supporting research.  The class will be taught by Toesies to Nosies founder Marti Yates, a certified massage therapist and infant massage instructor (CIMI).  Admission into the program is $100 for this 4-week course (9/9, 9/16, 9/23 & 9/30).  Space is limited.  Please click here to register.
