Extensive research consistently shows that early learning experiences significantly influence long-term academic and social success. Yet, many low-income children in Arizona lack access to quality early education, widening disparities in English and mathematics proficiency, as evidenced by data from the Arizona Department of Education. Without access to high-quality learning environments, families face additional pressure to provide educational opportunities at home.
Community organizations, like museums, are essential in supporting families with enriching activities for children. Spruce Up day 3! It’s all hands on deck this week as our staff scrubs all of the walls, baseboards, and crevices of the Museum! Things are starting to look (and smell) amazingly clean in here! 🧼
