Awakening Creativity: Preschool Pretend Play
July 26 @ 10:30 am - 12:15 pm
Sessions at 10:30am & 11:30am
Boost your preschooler’s school readiness through the magic of music, movement, and dramatic play! This interactive experience strengthens early literacy by building reading comprehension, vocabulary, and storytelling skills through imaginative role-play and theatrical structure. As children sing, dance, and act out familiar stories, they also develop vital social-emotional tools like empathy, turn-taking, emotional self-regulation, and conflict resolution. Engaging in pretend play encourages abstract thinking and communication, essential building blocks for classroom success. It’s a playful way to nurture confidence, creativity, and a love of learning in your growing child. This program is geared for children ages 3 to 5 years old with their adult caregiver. Admission into this program is free with paid Museum admission. Space is limited. Please register at admissions upon arrival; first come, first serve.
