DESCRIPTION:Join children’s author and social-emotional learning specialist Shamirrah Hill at the Museum for an exciting morning of movement\, storytelling\, creativity\, and social-emotional learning fun! \nFamilies can attend one or both interactive sessions designed to help children explore emotions\, kindness\, confidence\, and self-control through play\, imagination\, and audience participation. \n10:00am – Movement Session \nAn energetic\, physical theatre-inspired experience featuring movement games\, call-and-response activities\, emotion exploration\, and hands-on SEL fun designed especially for active young learners and drop-in families. \n11:00am – Interactive Storytime \nA full storytime experience featuring creative movement breaks\, audience interaction\, social-emotional learning discussions\, and engaging read-aloud moments centered around kindness and self-control. \nChildren will also enjoy: \n\nFree books while supplies last\nSEL activities\nPhysical theatre\nCreative movement\nOpportunities to meet a real author\n\nFun for ages 3–7. Included with paid Museum admission of $19 per person.
