DESCRIPTION:Little Rhythms is a month-long\, cohort-style music workshop for toddlers (ages 2–3) and their caregivers. Families explore musical styles connected to the museum’s monthly themes and character skills while building connections and developing early literacy and STEAM skills through play. Led by Teaching Artist Britney Lawler\, the program provides take-home literacy tips focused on phonemic awareness\, social studies\, and cultural exploration. \nThis workshop will be held on Wednesdays from 9:30am-10:00am (June 10th\, June 17th\, and June 24th) \nJune Theme: Heroic Hearts\nCharacter Skill Focus: Bravery \nLittle Rhythms is included with paid Museum admission of $19 per person or Museum Membership \nSpace is limited\, and registration is required. REGISTER TODAY! \nPlease note\, this is intentionally set up as a series. If you cannot make it to all days\, please consider signing up for a different month that will work with your schedule. Registration for the following month will open 1-2 weeks prior.

DESCRIPTION:Sessions at 10:30am & 11:30am \nToddlers & Preschoolers are at the perfect age to begin their music education through singing and instrument play. We will focus on rhythm\, beat\, pitch\, and audiation while utilizing music for emotional self-regulation and laying the foundation for future literacy and math skills. This month’s theme is “Super Heroes!” Join us for some super heroic songs in Music class this week! This program is geared for ages 18 months up to 5 years and their adult caregiver. Admission into this program is free with paid Museum admission. Space is limited. Please register at the admissions office upon arrival on a first-come\, first-served basis.
