Through gentle yoga stretches, touch, music, and singing, caretakers and babies are encouraged to bond with one another to support the emotional well-being of baby, as well as, stimulate the nervous system through sensory activities that support touch, and movement. Both baby and parent will participate in repetitive soothing motions of relaxation techniques, constructive play, and experience some yoga poses and practice breathing to embrace and celebrate the developmental milestones in the first year of the baby’s life. The class is designed for children ages 5 months through 15 months and is taught by Anna Blocher-Rubin. Admission into the program is free with paid Museum admission. Space is limited.
