One of Southwest Human Development’s literacy experts will address the value of maintaining one’s native language as it relates to literacy and language development for children. Parents will also learn the importance of singing and dancing with their children to help build their child’s vocabulary.  Parents will learn the value of rhyming and how doing this with your children will promote language growth and confidence.  This workshop is designed for children ages birth to five plus a parent/caregiver and includes story time, an art activity, singing, and dancing.  Each child will receive a new book to take home.  Admission into the Museum is FREE when you pre-register for this program.  Space is limited. Please click here to print your tickets.
