This workshop, led by Southwest Human Development, is designed to help parents set up daily reading routines and habits. It focuses on strategies to incorporate reading and talking with your child every day in fun interactive ways. The facilitator will demonstrate and help parents with ways to have fun with reading. Participants will learn engagement strategies and ways to embed language into daily activities. This workshop is designed for children ages birth to five plus a parent/caregiver and includes storytime, an art activity, singing and dancing.  Each child will receive a new book to take home. This program is for children ages birth through 5 and their adult caregiver(s). Admission into the Museum is FREE for pre-registered children and one adult for each child. Regular Museum admission will apply for any additional adults or accompanying children over the age of five. Space is very limited. Click here to register!
