Author-Illustrator Michael Hale will read Fast Freddie: The Legend In A Shell and will share fun facts about desert tortoises. Fast Freddie, The Legend In A Shell is the story of a Desert Tortoise who refuses to live a slow and ordinary life. With so much to do and see, Freddie finds a new way to experience it all, becoming a legend of the Sonoran Desert in the process. A humorous, rhyming, read-aloud for children ages 2 to 7. Fast Freddie also includes factual back matter, providing educational details about the plants, animals and features of the Sonoran Desert.
Michael Hale grew up in Arizona and has over 30 years of creative experience as a designer, writer and Illustrator. Now he puts his creative skills to work to on writing & illustrating children’s picture books. He loves his work. Michael has illustrated many picture books. Two of which he wrote as well as illustrated, Bad Monkey Business and Fast Freddie, The Legend In A Shell.
