In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we will be showcasing the creations of local artist Ayoneceli Rodriguez Segura in our Art Studio!
Ayoneceli Rodriguez Segura is a queer mixed media artist born in Mexico Tenochtitlan, or present-day Mexico City. Ayo is focused on making art with their community and creating stories that uplift and create unity.
Ayo takes inspiration from the vivid culture in Mexico, from the colors to the legends of Mesoamerica, curanderismo, and indigenous beliefs. Through their art, they aim to share the radiant and rich history of their culture.
