Who volunteers?

At the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, our volunteers are diverse, creative, and vibrant individuals comprised of various backgrounds, professions, and ages. Our youngest volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and those that are 18 and older must pass a background check.

Why volunteer?

Volunteers are a valuable and integral part of our business. In the past year alone, 964 volunteers contributed 7,427 hours to our Museum. In return, we provide professional development and networking opportunities, and a unique and fun way to give back to the children and families in our community. The Children’s Museum of Phoenix is an exciting organization to collaborate with, especially if you enjoy working with children or just want a great excuse to play!

Thank you American Express Foundation for continuing to support our volunteer program!AXP_4C_grad
