Experience the colorful creations of our featured artist, Shela Yu!
Shela Yu, aka @shellshaker, is a multi-disciplinary artist exploring the shifting landscapes of home—both internal and external. As the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants of Chinese heritage, her work traces threads of ancestral memory, nature, and identity, shaped by the nuanced tensions between belonging and change. Moving between murals, paintings, and song, Yu creates portals for reflection and connection.

Observed on the anniversary of @littlefreelibrary becoming a nonprofit in 2012, May 17 highlights Little Free Library`s mission to build community, inspire readers, and expand book access via their global network of more than 200,000 book-sharing boxes.
Did you know that the Children`s Museum of Phoenix is an official registered site for the Little Free Library program? With our own Little Free Library, located right outside our admission doors, we aim to offer pre-loved books to a brand-new audience of littles, helping them explore the joy of reading!
Got a book you`d like to contribute? Feel free to drop it off in our Little Free Library for another kid to enjoy! 📚

Members, the wait is almost over! Join us Friday night for a special preview of your favorite summertime experience, the FOAM ZONE!
🗓 Members-Only Extended Play on Friday, May 15th, from 4:00pm-7:00pm!
Foam bursts will occur intermittently throughout the evening, beginning at 4:00pm, with the last blast at 6:30pm.
Make sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes, and be ready for a foam-azing night of fun!
