Join bestselling children’s author Shamirrah Hill for an engaging and creative Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) workshop inspired by her new children’s book, Monster Feelings! Through storytelling, performing arts, and hands-on creative play, children will learn to identify and express emotions in healthy ways—building the foundation for empathy, self-control, and emotional intelligence.
🕙 Session 1 (10:00 AM) – Ages 3–4
A playful, interactive experience where preschoolers explore emotions through storytelling, imagery, music, and movement.
🕚 Session 2 (11:00 AM) – Ages 5–7
An engaging session that helps children understand and name emotions through story, discussion, hands-on activities, and physical theatre exercises.
Admission into this program is free with paid Museum admission.
Space is limited — please register at admissions upon arrival; first come, first served.
