Can vegetables become musical instruments? Young chefs will transform carrots into playful flutes while learning how air creates sound. They’ll also explore the flavors of nopales (cactus), an ingredient that has been enjoyed in Mexico for generations, alongside creamy hummus for dipping. This STEAM-inspired class combines music, science, culture, and healthy eating in one fun-filled experience. Chef Krystal focuses on plant-based cooking, showing young chefs how accessible, delicious, and creative these ingredients can be while building confidence in the kitchen. This is a drop-in experience; however, space is limited. To respect other guests and keep things comfortable, a set number of families will be welcomed every 15 minutes.
