Travel to Jamaica through one of its most beloved comfort foods! Children will prepare colorful vegetable-filled patties while discovering the warm flavors of allspice and thyme. Along the way, they’ll learn how food, music, and celebration are connected in Jamaican culture, and how rhythm can be found in both cooking and reggae music. Chef Krystal focuses on plant-based cooking, showing young chefs how accessible, delicious, and creative these ingredients can be while building confidence in the kitchen. This is a drop-in experience; however, space is limited. To respect other guests and keep things comfortable, a set number of families will be welcomed every 15 minutes.
