Help us celebrate International Day of Play, recently adopted by the United Nations General Assembly to be recognized annually on June 11th every year moving forward. Play is a fundamental right; it builds resilience, instills confidence, and helps children develop. There are so many reasons we should all be celebrating the power of play.

COME PLAY!

  • Ignite your minds, muscles and imaginations in the Museum’s 300+ play experiences!
  • Test your agility as you navigate your way through our obstacle course.
Kids can engage with a variety of age-appropriate equipment and manipulatives designed to excite. All day in the 1st floor Atrium
  • Start Spanish: “¡Vamos a jugar!” (Let’s Play!)
Profesora Paula will be here to help start your little one’s Spanish journey. She’ll work with them to identify their favorite sports and play games while listening to music. All ages are welcome. Classes at 10:30am and 11:30am in our 2nd-floor classroom
  • Music with Ray of Hope: Day of Play!
Sing, dance, and learn with your little one! This class is designed to be a parent-child adventure as we learn about positive self-talk, develop social skills, build academic skills, learn about appropriate emotional regulation, and practice being in a group setting; all facilitated through music. Emily Martin, a board-certified Music Therapist will be today’s instructor.
Drop in anytime between 11:00am and Noon in DramaRama located on the 3rd floor behind Noodle Forest.

These activities are FREE with paid Museum admission of $17.00 per person. Members and children under the age of 1 are free.
