Measure-a-Saurus

Young paleontologists will explore the fascinating world of dinosaur facts and measurements—comparing their own height, stride, and even “tooth size” to prehistoric giants. Using tools of measurement and simple math, kids will practice estimation, observation, and data collection as they measure up to real-life dino dimensions.
Jurassic Sandpit!

Step into the Jurassic Sandpit and dig into dino-sized adventures all month long! Uncover hidden “fossils” using brushes, scoops, and magnifying glasses.

Flying Dinosaurs

Talbot’s Dino-Designarama!

Get ready to design your very own dinosaur! In this playful Dino Month program, kiddos will dream up their own prehistoric creatures and give them a one-of-a-kind name using our fun Dino Name Generator. We’ll also celebrate Women’s History Month by spotlighting Mignon Talbot, the first woman paleontologist to officially name a dinosaur—inviting young makers to explore, imagine, and create just like she did!
Dinosaur Fossil Rubbings

Step into the Art Studio and make your own dinosaur fossil! Using rubbing plates and crayons, young artists can channel Mary Anning, the trailblazing fossil hunter whose remarkable Jurassic discoveries continue to inspire scientists and explorers today.
