Sessions at 10:00am & 11:00am
It’s Literacy Month! Join featured authors from, Loving Literacy Authors, each Tuesday for special Storytimes at the Museum! Loving Literacy Authors is an innovative consortium of several local Phoenix children’s book authors and illustrators, who are former teachers, librarians, and passionate literacy advocates. They are dedicated to helping improve the reading and writing skills of Arizona’s children with an engaging, unique program. Today’s authors are Eileen Pieczonka and Phoebe Fox. Eileen and her therapy dogs create an unforgettable, fun learning experience while presenting in the CASEL SEL framework. She is the Founder of Loving Literacy Authors, Board Member of the Artists of the Superstitions, and is a therapy dog team volunteer for the Chandler Police Dept. and Pawsitive Friendships. Phoebe Fox is the author of nine children’s books that focus on animals, Arizona, and social emotional learning. She is also the host of Mamafox Books’ Storytime Saturdays on YouTube!
