Strum, sing, and smile in this joyful ukulele class designed for children and their grown-ups! Families will explore rhythm, melody, and movement through playful sing-alongs and hands-on strumming with real ukuleles. Whether you’re plucking your first note or joining in with your voice, this class introduces basic musical concepts and encourages creativity, connection, and confidence—one tiny string at a time! This program will be facilitated by local musicians and art educators, Wes Ganeko and Jon Taketa. Wes is a professional ukulele and bass player with over 30+ years of experience in the music industry. Jon is an approved Arizona ESA vendor and official dealer for Koaloha Ukulele, one of the premier handcrafted ukulele manufacturers in Hawaii.
